There are many different forms of power and strength within our world, the distinction I would like to make for the sake of this article is the difference between physical strength and actual power. This article isn’t only for the boys but it also has to do with the feminine mode of beauty versus influence. As a young man I spent the majority of my youth trying to become a tough guy, trying to become someone who felt safe because of the physical strength I’d accumulated within my physical body. I realized on that day that the amount of power you will have is in direct proportion with the amount of people you can influence.
The amount of people using influence is directly in alignment with the amount of value you can give.
The amount of value that you give is directly connected with the powers that you wield within your mind. I call these powers your individual capital and life will always compensate you in direct proportion to your individual capital. Men do not get what they want in this world but rather they are given that which is in alignment with who they are.
This principle also applies to the ladies out there who want respect and love from those around them. When you show up at the board meeting ladies, are the men in the room happy to have you around because of the length of your skirt and the way you look or do they value your presence because you bring something intellectually valuable to the table? Don’t kid yourself on this one because it is impossible to change something that you are not fully aware of.
Do you have the type of individual capital that makes you a true asset and a positive, powerful influence within a given situation or are you just an office decoration?
When you’re interacting with a man what is it that you want him to notice, pursue and value about you?
A strongman may be feared but a wise man is respected.
A beautiful woman may get noticed but an influential one is priceless.
Physical strength will help rise to the highest levels of certitude but intellectual, mental, emotional and even spiritual strength will set you free in this life.
They made it look so good in those action movies with all of those big strong superheroes and beautiful women but in the end the mind and the heart are the only 2 instruments that will get you out of the rat race, off of the horizontal plane and onto the vertical path to your destiny.
