What do you do when you’re tired…? How do you react to the stress of life?
The systems/tools you use to navigate the inevitable fatigue you experience from the consistent micro traumas of life, where did the system come from and how effective is it?
The question really is; when things get hard, how do you deal with the stress?
Are you efficient and effective or do you stress everyone else out around you?
Under pressure do you become a hazard or an asset?
Do you use the pressure as an excuse to show more juvenile aspects of your character or do you use the pressure as an excuse to perform at a higher level?
Crying is fine when you’re a child because you need someone else to come and solve your problems. As an adult, your problems will still be right there and may even gain momentum/positioning on you if you take too much time to cry.
My advice is that you should view the crucible and the pressure cooker of your life as something that is there to help you grow stronger. You should put yourself in high stress and high-pressure situations as often as possible because that is the only way for you to grow and condition yourself to deal with high stakes situations more effectively. I say do this to yourself enough so that when life does it to you, you’re simply not phased. 9/10 of the time when I see the things that really stress people out, what I am really noticing is an unfortunate lack of conditioning. The reality simply seems to be that we need pressure, we need stress, we need weight, we need resistance and we need pain many times in order to grow, transcend and evolve… how else do you grow stronger?
