You’ve probably worked hard to get to where you are at. Only you know if you could have done more and gotten farther. Don’t regret your mistakes because we all make them and if we are wise we will learn from them. The past is for informational not identification. In the Marine Corps we have a saying, “rounds down range.“ Which simply means that you’ve shot that bullet and you can’t do anything about them now so focused on your next shot. Control what you can control, prioritize and execute relentlessly. The most important feeling to avoid in my opinion is the feeling of regret that comes from knowing that you could’ve done more, gone harder and consequentially gotten farther. You may not achieve all your goals but guard yourself against feelings of failure by spending yourself entirely in your hearts endeavors to the best of your ability. The more you do this the more you will learn about yourself, the stronger you will become, the more obvious your purpose will be and the more fulfilling your life will become on a regular basis. There is simply so much honor in fighting the good fight but don’t stop there because results follow applied intelligence. Because of this truth, if you want to be successful you must be willing to sacrifice who you are and all that you think you know today for who you must become in order to reach your destiny tomorrow. Learn, apply, re-learn, adjust and reapply until you solve the equation and then hit the gas / fire for maximum effect! The victory is yours for the taking but you truly must take it.
