⚜️The primary goal and desired outcome of these scenarios is safety… So with those metrics for success, I’d say this kid behind the cash register did a pretty good job. He stayed cool he stayed calm and simply gave the man what he wanted, period.

This time that approach worked but there are no guarantees that it always will because we’ve also seen that compliance does not necessarily mean Survival.

The main thing I want you all to notice is simply that this aggressor is robbing this kid with a dead gun… The gun is out of battery. I’m not sure the kid recognizes this very important detail and so I wanted to show you all this video to show you the importance of understanding how modern weapon systems work.

I’m not saying the kid should attack the man because the man might still overpower him and might have more weapons on his person but recognizing this one detail can give you an advantage if you’re ever in a situation like this with a gun in your face.
