The reason you must get to know yourself is that only you have the combination of your success. Your success in life is going to be dictated by your ability to unlock your personal, authentic potential. A guru can give you his experience, he can give you statistics, he can give you tips, Techniques and tactics that have worked for him and other people he has worked with but… no one truly knows what will work for you and it’s your job to figure that out. You are the only you that this universe has ever seen and you are living a life that is 100% unique to you. Even in the military, we say situation dictates tactics. This means that based on your situation, your skills, abilities, and vulnerabilities will dictate what tools you should/shouldn’t use and when. I wish there was a cookie-cutter way to do it, I wish someone could give you all the answers but the reality of this Game is simply that life is staring right at you all the time, watching you, reacting to you and giving you the things you deserve based on your choices. This gymnasium we live in is designed to make us stronger and better, to exploit our weaknesses for us to grow and as long as we continue moving forward with that mindset we move closer to our success because we unlock more and more potential. When we adopt a victim mindset we move closer to extinction simply because this world will only accept progress. It’s funny how you may not be where you want to be but if you can be progressive you can be happy right where you are. Make the choice to unlock happiness today by doing something to move you progressively in the direction of unlocking a little bit of potential. Life is watching you and waiting to see if you will live or if you will continue dying slowly.
