⚜️When the timer sounds and I turn around I will have the luxury of executing movements in a scenario that I am familiar with in order to improve upon a skill set that may one day possibly save lives. What I find most interesting is the reality that while I train and aim to live a life of continual learning; there is still so much to life that can destroy me at any moment. Not just in the realm of Executive Protection but in life it seems that one must do so much in order to be their best as often as possible. Even if that best is achieved a decent percentage of the time, there are still so many variables that can still result in failure and elimination. So much just seems to be Gods grace. In my own estimation it seems to be wise them to steak lots of my value not simply in my life but rather in the way that my life is lived and in the contributions that I make. Instead of loving our lives to the death maybe it’s wise to find the more value in our contributions so that when death comes our time on earth may be validated by daily actions. We will all die two times; once as the last breath of air exists our lungs and a second time when the last person says our name on the planet for the very last time… The death of our contributions… Eternity however is another matter all together.

Maybe we only ever get to keep what we give because what we give changes us in a way that actually helps us get ahead by improving our character, which seems to be what much of this life may truly be all about…
