⚜️Another small detail that can come back to bite you at the end of your security detail or in between movements is simply your behavior directly after your client has boarded they are private aircraft. Working with different teams and professionals I’ve seen different things but my personal approach is to make sure you stay at the private airport a.k.a. FBO (flight-based operations) until your principles, clients and stakeholders are actually in the sky Period on some occasions and depending on the trip or threat levels, I’ve seen teams stay in place until the aircraft passes the point of no return.

The reason for this is simply to make sure that you are still around if something happens on the tarmac and the aircraft needs to turn around. We all know these types of things can happen and you don’t want to be back at your hotel room or out with the guys when your client calls you because they have a need.
