Here’s another unfortunate incident depicting the reality of what happens when we let strangers inside our house without restrain. Burglars let you believe that there’s just one person waiting at the door on the other side, but you never know how many are actually hiding behind, and what the consequences are going to be. The reality with the protection strategies is that human beings are often the weakest link, which is why you must increase your protection quotient or PQ.

The inmates of the house were attacked despite them having a camera which makes it clear that it is not enough. Invest in a camera that allows you to talk to the person on the other side of the door. And unless you’re not sure who it is, there’s absolutely no reason for you to open that door.

Despite all of the precautions, if you still end up in a situation like this, you gotta ask yourself, do you have a force multiplier to protect you? And are you trained to use your firearms? As protectors, we need to invest money in the one skill that may save our lives or the lives of people around us.
