???BOOM! Just letting off some rounds in a shooting competition, it’s a great way to have some fun and maintain those hard skills at the same time. Simply having a cool job isn’t enough; we need to be above reproach and able to outperform others when it comes to the HARD SKILLS. Make no mistake that ability will not come to you just because you have a cool job.

Because we do not have badges and our profession involves saving lives, we need to train ourselves at a higher level than even local law enforcement if we can. Even they wish they could train more in most cases so how dare we neglect the responsibility of continued training and practice?

It’s the things we do when we are not at work that empower us to perform on our worst days at work as protectors.
