Pain and pleasure, in my opinion, have very little to do with good and bad. I’ve learned far more from pain than from pleasure. Character is built through adversity. Honestly, if somebody is sheltering you or protecting you from struggle, it’s a disservice. You must struggle to evolve. It is a struggle that sparkes growth and inspires change. If you never see yourself in a struggle, you never, see a necessity to change keeping you immature.
When adversity strikes you, which it will inevitably do. The reality of this game in life is the ability to know that everything is going to be okay. The ability to practice adversity before life hits in your face is something that can prepare you for life, and all it’s struggles.
Do not run from pain, do not run from struggle, instead become strong enough to rest in it.
