If you aren’t motivated enough to do a good job simply because your name is attached to it then you still have a lot of growing up to do. The people who get ahead in this world are the people that put out more often and on higher levels than everyone else. How do you mentally and emotionally set yourself up to be one of those people who consistently put out on a high level? You must be intrinsically motivated, that is to say, that your motivation must come from inside of you. Motivation is something that must come from your self-concept rather than any external factor. It’s OK to be motivated by external things for a time or here and there but those things can’t be your only reason for doing great work because those things simply won’t last and can be easily taken away. Your life will only ever rise or fall to the level of your self-concept. Therefore the greatest work you can do is the work you do on yourself, for yourself, to yourself. Because only then can you be fit to serve any cause, even the cause of your God. You will discover who you are only after you set out to create that person simply because it is the journey of self-discovery and self-creation that will ultimately bring you to your destiny. Your destiny can only be unlocked by your ability to reach your fullest potential. Your journey in life is about one thing and one thing only, unlocking your full potential in order to contribute to the highest levels you can possible.
