The first thing God gave man was not a mission. It was His presence.
Before man had a job to do, a family to lead, or a world to influence, he had a place to walk with the Father.
The Garden was not just about what man was supposed to accomplish.
It was about who he was walking with while he did it.
That is priesthood.
And when that relationship was broken, everything else was affected.
David understood the importance of keeping the fire burning. He established a tabernacle where worship was continually ascending to God.
There was always someone tending the altar.
There was always praise going up.
There was always a place where God was being honored.
What would happen if men approached their own lives the same way?
Before the day begins, build the altar.
Pray.
Worship.
Get into alignment.
Then carry what God puts in you into your home, your marriage, your work, your leadership, and the world around you.
Because the fire you carry publicly is often determined by what you cultivate privately.
And don’t despise small beginnings.
Most men want the harvest. Few are willing to stay through the seed and the time.
But the time is where faithfulness is built.
Fatherhood can teach you something about the heart of the Father.
Marriage can teach you something about the Bridegroom.
And learning to make peace can teach you what it means to live as a son of God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
If this challenged you, send it to a brother who needs to hear it.
And if you want more conversations that go deeper into faith, manhood, leadership, fatherhood, and what it means to walk with God, make sure you follow and stay connected to the Man of Peace Podcast.
