Unarmed security is one of the most dangerous positions to be in our industry. On one hand, you are put in a position to try and observe and report/protect and environment while on the other, if you’re wearing a uniform you must understand that you are a target but how does being a target makes sense if you don’t have anything to protect yourself with?

Most importantly I think we should all know that people doing these jobs whether it’s as a first responder or private security professional may face situations where they may not come home every time they leave the house. This is why we must train our minds and our bodies in order to be able to face formidable adversaries in the line of duty while protecting the innocent.
