Felt like I was starting to get my stuff together for this competition but overall I give myself a C+ for the day. The memory stages broke me off as they usually do. Always need to shoot faster… My stage planning overall was so-so but that really always comes down to my ability to stick to the plan once the buzzer sounds which I did 70% of the time. My accuracy however was good to go and probably where I performed Besse which means I should probably speed up.

On a tactical level, I love seeing that my accuracy is there however Speed is extremely important as well so I’m definitely going to focus on that a little bit more. If I can up my speed along with my ability to execute on stage plans, I should be leveling up soon. The thing I love about the competitive shooting is simply that you were forced to solve a more sophisticated equation than you usually see on a range and you’re forced to do it under stress. I believe this builds a fluid type of intelligence that helps the shooter to get used to problem-solving while shooting which is absolutely invaluable.
