It’s been over a month since my last competition so I was a bit rusty but not as bad as I expected to be. I’ve honestly been going stir crazy trying to find my way back on the range. This new location along with some new looking stage plans made this last competition even more interesting.

One thing I’ve been focusing on quite a bit is grip, it took me a while to notice but I have learned that grip greatly impacts what takes place with your accuracy as you try to fire your rounds accurately.

As I focus on this one thing more, my accuracy has improved noticeably. Now the game is all about stage planning and movement rather than aiming and firing my weapon.

I believe this is the natural progression of things. The advantage of training like this is simply that as you continually do certain things such as shooting and weapon manipulation, it simply takes less bandwidth for you to do because you’ve written more layers of programming for it, this frees you up to focus on more sophisticated tasks and high-quality problems like outmaneuvering your enemy and or working your stage plan.

All in all, I shot pretty good but not that good which is always a motivation to go back for more the next time I get the chance.
