School shootings have become play more and more imposing and tragic component of our reality these days. Personally, I wish we could simply connect the dots and understand that securing children is the same as securing everything else we protect in our society that is valuable.

People fail to do what needs to be done to save lives in these environments because they’re concerned about how kids would feel if they see a man with a gun nearby even though the only thing that ever keeps any of us safe is the presence of a man with a gun ready to do violence in order to protect the innocent. In this video, I dig into a few major discrepancies I see taking place in this situation. I love law enforcement agencies but I have to call things as I see them to remain in integrity with myself and those who lend me their ear. In an active shooter scenario, every minute counts and cost lives if you’re holding containment while a shooter is active you are only helping the shooter kill more people unless there is an active plan being executed that is tying him up rather than letting him roam free.

It looks like these officers are gripped by fear I understand that feeling but it’s absolutely no excuse not to do your job. More training would help, there needs to be some type of honor and most warriors like these actually causes them to compete with each other in order to extinguish a threat like this. But I know they’ve all watched their friends get defunded and probably lose their jobs so now we have a gun-shy fighting force here.

If you are a professional Protector, it is important that you try to be the 1 out of 100. That one man’s courage helps the other officers summon the courage they have inside to get the job done.

This is a tragedy and through this video we can inspire other professional protectors out there to be better for the next inevitable event.
