From the outside looking in our goals are so SEXY. They’ve got to be because they need to intrinsically motivated us. Think about how motivated you were when you wanted that mate, that job or that car. You should be organically motivated towards what you want but that’s always only just the beginning, as we all know from our own experiences with the things I just mentioned.

It’s never about the physical for very long, it’s never about the new thing for very long, it always ends up being about what’s deeper, the connection, what’s under the hood. Said differently; your present purpose in life should be organically motivating but since the reality of achieving your destiny is about who you’re becoming, it will require you to evolve through many different present purposes. Here is a hint, the outcomes will not look the way you want them to more often than you are expecting. These are likened to multiple battles over the trajectory of the war. Becoming who you need to become is a campaign. It’s always about the deeper levels because your purpose needs to be congruent with the seeds of destiny placed deep inside of your heart. These present purposes lead you deeper into yourself while simultaneously driving you to learn and create higher versions of yourself whether you succeed at them or not because it’s more about who you’re becoming rather than what you’re acquiring externally. As you evolve you will fall out of congruence with each purpose but you are becoming more and more dynamic and so you are still moving effectively along the path of your destiny, even when you think you’ve lost a fight. What is paramount and of the highest importance is that you realize… Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn and this is the alchemy of becoming an unstoppable force in your life no matter what occurs. I don’t know if there’s a blueprint but I know that if you endeavor to draw the nutrients from the various struggles you must participate in as if they are the soil required to fertilize the seed of destiny and your heart, one day you will ultimately bear fruit.

This is an immutable principle of this life and it is your chief responsibility as a human on your journey.

What you want gets you motivated but motivation never lasts because who you are becoming by the grace of God through these struggles, is what this life is all about.
