These are things I talk about all the time but that truly make a difference before the attack. These things will get you in the right position to avoid the attack or make it harder for the enemy to attack you.

On the other side of the attack, you have force multipliers such as firearms and edged weapons that can be implemented but our goal is to avoid situations like this as much as possible.
