Our enemies oppose us from the outside but I believe the true enemy comes from within. They aim to inspire a reaction inside of us that will cause us to freeze, not to act and to exist in a state of apathy with regards to what they are doing to us. They want us to believe there’s nothing we can do to create or cause change… They want us to believe that they are too powerful and there is simply nothing we can do to disrupt their momentum and fix things. They want us to believe that the fight is over before it is truly over. We must choose to fight the internal battle of apathy which is a state of in action caused from overwhelm and confusion. We may not know how to fight them directly but we must know that if we all work together there is something that can be done.

Mankind has opposed and overcome so many very formidable enemies in our history. The reality is simply that one person cannot make the entire difference. We all need to bring our skills together, our gifts together and put our minds/hearts together to figure out how we can stand against the evil that seems overwhelming and everywhere in our world today. We can’t leave it up to other people to do these things because they simply will not get done. Each and everyone of us must choose to fight and be the change we want to see in this world otherwise our children will grow up and live in mental and physical bondage that will ultimately be our fault. The salvation of our country and our world rests on our shoulders and we were all created and born for such a time as this.

If we can fight the internal battle against intimidation, apathy and confusion and choose to begin doing what we can from where we are with what we have, we can change this dynamic by the grace of God. Do not sit by and watch the grace and freedom that’s so many have died to give us slip through our fingers and ultimately be in vain.
