Women bring real value to law enforcement and protection work—but that value must be applied correctly. Distance management, positioning, partner integration, and maintaining weapon dominance are not optional considerations. When those principles are ignored, outcomes become predictable.

This is not a question of bravery or intent. It’s a question of tactics, deployment, and training. If we care about officer safety and civilian safety, we stop placing people in situations where physiology and reality are working against them.
