I have been studying myself and my stress points and how to get better at achieving higher results. How to make better quality decisions at a faster velocity. I think what has blinded me a little bit is the speed at which I have been working requires a lot of mental focus, energy, and consideration given to working smarter not harder. I’m leveraging heavily into systems over sweat equity. But understanding that this is something I needed to work on took a little bit because it is easy to think you are doing a lot if you are doing more than the people in your immediate environment.

That’s why your game can not be about them. Your race, your battle, your mission must be about you! My path is different than everyone else in my circle. Therefore, it places a different demand on me and they’re at places on their paths. So one day when they are at a place on their path that’s similar to mine then maybe it will be demanded from them to also make higher quality decisions at a higher velocity.

But for now, something else is being demanded of them that I have not dealt with. The path of personal progress and evolution is designed to perfect you. The things that you are good at, you will fly through and the things that challenge you will require some investment of time.

I have deep insecurity sometimes about my thought processes because of my TBIs and dyslexia. So when you are coping with something like that you have to be either very sure or willing to make mistakes knowing you can course correct them moving forward. Which is generally how I live my life. That is the lesson I learned from my injury that has caused me to create more than most. Which shows you how your pain and injuries can be a gift and unlock and help you realize more of your potential. Try to find the purpose within the pain.

My last point is don’t compare yourself with anyone around you. They are running different races and they are at different points in their journey. You have to be looking at yourself with the highest degree of scrutiny. You must find your weaknesses and you must carve them out. So you can get stronger, be better, and give more! ?BOOM!
