When you begin working on yourself they will call you crazy. When you begin taking control of your life you will seem odd to the masses. When you begin managing your time to the exclusion of the insignificant minutia everyone else indulges in, they will chastise you.

When you begin waking up early in order to try and become the best you can be, they will make fun of you… They will ask you if something is wrong with you.

When you begin focusing on your diet, both physically, mentally and emotionally… They will become uncomfortable.

When you begin pruning the relationships in your life and those who unfortunately cannot keep up begin falling away because they live on a different frequency… You will be demonized.

The road to your greater purpose, passion and destiny is truly a lonely one at times but it is that way for a reason. Because you must learn to focus on yourself and as you learn the value of that, all of the voices of those who are not on the path will matter so much less.

You must have compassion for them for most of their opinions and what they say about you come from the organic insecurities that plague those who are too afraid to look within and leverage discipline to unlock greatness. Their words are a mirror and reflect the protection strategies that unfortunately have kept them locked in place.

The longer you spend on the path and the stronger you become, you will ultimately realize that you have found the road of God-given fulfillment. You will look back at all of the hours you spent underneath the street light in the darkness fighting weaker versions of yourself to find more progress and you will ask yourself?

Who is really crazy?

Those who face scrutiny and disdain for who they are and work towards what they can become? Or those who work even harder to avoid the righteous process of personal evolution in order to maintain the status quo and survive a life of weakness?

The truth is simply that the easy road generally becomes unbearably difficult in the end. While the hard road makes you strong enough to find rest in the storm of life and give more valuable gifts to the world that you have earned and that truly unlock lasting fulfillment. In this life there’s only victory or capture, seen through actions of faith or fear.

It’s crazy to spend your life hiding and making excuses that ensure that you’ll never win… The crazy is enough to get into the arena of personal progress by God’s grace and become who he created you to be.
