You can learn so much about yourself in the water. To me the ocean is all about flow. If you know how to flow then you can relax. If you understand what you can and also what you cannot fight then your mind is much more at ease. The ocean always reminds me of my powerlessness but also of where I can go and what I can get done if I am determined, consistent and willing to work with the ever-changing environment that I’m presented with. I love the ocean because I feel like it has always taught me powerful principles and deep things of this life. Lastly I love that the ocean because it places a realistic valuation on emotions, you can cry in here, you can be happy in here, you can be angry in here and feel whatever you want but what will ultimately dictate whether you drowned or not in the ocean will really only have to do with your intelligence and the decisions you make consequentially. So learn to surrender towhat is while also maintaining in your heart that you will do everything you can to affect reality in the right way, at the right time, with the correct tools to achieve your goals. Go with the flow but also use the flow to take you where you want to go.
